Dog Licenses: Expire 4-30-23

FROM THE VILLAGE ……. This is a reminder to residents that ALL DOG LICENSES EXPIRE ON 4-30-2023 and need to be renewed. Now is the time to make sure your pets have current rabies vaccinations and if not, you need to make an appointment with the Vet who cares for your dog(s) to get them vaccinated.

Dog licenses are due as of 5-1-2023 and the cost is $11.00 per dog. If the Village has a record of current rabies vaccination we don’t need to see the certificate again, but if you are unsure, please call the office and we will check the records for you. Licenses can be paid via the mail, by using the drop box, by using the online portal at: http://ne/gov/go/ansley, or by stopping in the office.

The new license and tags will be sent to you by mail if we don’t see you in person. Rabies vaccination is mandated by state statute so please be a responsible pet owner and make sure your dog is vaccinated, you provide proof to the Village Office, and pay the license fee. The Village Board is looking to employ an Ordinance Enforcement Officer and this is a priority ordinance he will be enforcing along with dogs running at large, barking dogs and nuisance properties.
